'The future depends on what we do in the present.' - Mahatma Gandhi
There are many forms and styles of Yoga and many different ways of practising. As teachers we evolve, and currently I feel have developed a coherent approach to yoga that I am very happy to share with others. Through my teaching I aim to help unite you with yourself through physical movement and awareness of breathing, encouraging integration to mind, body and breath. This challenges us on many levels.
Most of us are guilty of rushing through our daily tasks, cramming far too much into our already busy days. As the day continues the body may begin to develop unnecessary tension, some of which we may not have even noticed, because it can become habitual through repetition. My intention is to help you allow yourself time on your mat to slow down and notice. The more you do this the more affect it will have. In time this noticing starts to trickle into everyday life so we become more aware and consequently more comfortable.
The classes are fun, warm and welcoming and will provide you with an environment that is both relaxed and friendly. I offer a space for everyone to progress at one’s own pace. My yoga lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advance levels. My yoga teaching emphasises movement and awareness, and I encourage a practice that will allow you time for self-enquiry and discovery. Exploring and discovering ways of how you can move more intelligently to enhance your practice.
